Agnė Sunklodaitė

Director Agnė Sunklodaitė graduated bachelor's degree in actor philologist from Vilnius University (course leaders:Nijolė Gelžinytė and Aidas Ginotis) and Master studies in Theatre directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (course leader: Rimas Tuminas). Agnė Sunklodaitė directs performances for children and youth in various Lithuanian and foreign Theatres, three times nominated for the highest theatrical award - Golden Stage Cross (2009 - together with the creative group for the best performance for children for the performance "Interview with the Crazy", 2015 - in the puppet and object theatre category group for the performance "Grasshopper Zigmas at the Battle of Grunwald, 2017" in the same category for the performance "Blowing Doors"). In 2022, she was awarded the Golden Stage Cross for the play "Forest of the Gods". A. Sunklodaitė's performances were awarded and noticed at various theater festivals, and in 2022 A. Sunklodaitė was recognized as the best director at the Dalia Tamulevučiūtė Professional Theater Festival. From 2018 A.Sunklodaitė participates in the international project "Participate in yor life" for children and youth, where she, together with other Theatre artists from Scandinavia and Central Europe, constantly explores the possibilities, necessity and impact of interactive theater, seeking new ways of theatre expression and communication. Agnė Sunklodaitė creates roles in theatre, cinema and TV, makes and dubs feature films, cartoons, plays and plays, as well as song tunes and lyrics for plays. Performances directed by A. Sunklodaitė regularly participate in various Lithuanian and foreign theatre festivals, and tours abroad. In 2014, the family theater “Labaiteatras” was founded, and its founder (together with composer Davidas Gnedinas) is Agnė Sunklodaitė.
