Open call: Touring opportunity for Norwegian productions in Lithuania, January 2023
Open Call for participation in the EEA project Across Boarders:Theatre for Young Audience
Assitej Norway is looking for two Norwegian performances to be shown at the Kitoks Festival in Lithuania and three other cities in the period 20-28.January, 2023.
The performances should be suited for an audience with limited knowledge of English, and the company is also asked to do a workshop in combination with the performance. The selected companies will receive a performance fee and have all costs for traveling, meals and accommodation covered. The target group for this project is 0-18 years, in other words all productions ranging from babies to young adults are welcome to apply.
This is a unique opportunity to travel with your performances, meet an international audience and programmers at Kitoks, and to get to know Lithuania better.
This project is an EEA-supported project, a collaboration between Menu Spaustuve, Davvi – senter for scenekunst and Assitej Norway. The aim of the project is to promote development of professional contemporary performing arts for young people as well as to improve accessibility in regions and rural areas, increasing the involvement of local professionals who work with young people. Please submit a presentation of the performance you wish to apply with, a short description of the workshop you can offer, and please include video documentation of the full performance in addition to a short version. You should also include the number of performers and crew on tour, a technical rider and cost of production. Please notice the short deadline! Please submit your proposal by 25th September.
